Just Ask Max

Just Ask Max was a system that allows the teachers and staff at school to monitor and main mental health & awareness of children.
The clients requirements were to host a new mental health awareness platform using AWS and monitor the systems in Datadog. The application stack was a node.js, docker and MySQL.
Phase 1 – to implement new application stack infrastructure, network, cloud adoption and automation.
Terraform automation was used for creating AWS ECS Fargate clusters to create the container platform in AWS. The Cognito, RDS, ElasticSearch and other AWS components were also automated.
Datadog Dashboards and monitors are also created using Terraform and alerting via Pager Duty.
For security AWS WAF used to protect the internet facing infrastructure.
GitHub pipelines to build Docker images for ECR and update the Terraform task definitions to update the ECS cluster with new iterations of the code.
A fully automated solution in AWS which allow scalbility and zero downtime deployments.
Terraform sets the standard for our IaC implementations and we used it to full effect on this project.
AWS Fargate hosted the web application stack to ensure scalability and zero downtime deployments.
