Akrivia Health specialise in mental health and Dementias research. World leaders in providing clinical evidence for optimising diagnosis.
The clients requirement were to enhance the use of AWS services and automate the new networking requirements.
Phase 1 – to implement internal BitBucket system in secure VPC with VPC endpoints.
Phase 2 – Implement Step Functions to automate manual tasks.
Phase 3 – Implement the AWS Transit Gateway with Perimeter 81 client VPN link.
We used Packer to create the AMI image and hosted it with a secure private VPC using Terraform.
Terraform code was created to create a Private BitBucket environment to keep their code and data safe. We then used VPC endpoints to allow migration of repo’s from GitLab to BitBucket. We also setup the Jira SaaS integration with Bitbucket.
We created a Transit Gateway network to connect their private VPC’s to Perimeter 81 client VPN.
This allows the clients and employees to access the privately hosted secure systems.
Terraform import functions used to import all manually created resources.
Packer images used to build self hosted Atlassian products. This was required to meet the tight security criteria.
