Job Title: Sales/Business Development Engineer, Full Time/Contract

 

Location: Onsite/Office, Watford, Croxley Business Park

We are seeking a enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads and increasing revenue by promoting and selling our cloud solutions. You will work closely with potential clients to understand their business needs, propose tailored solutions, and guide them through the sales process. Your technical expertise and sales acumen will be critical in driving the success of our AWS offerings.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach efforts. Develop and execute strategies to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.

 

- Client Engagement: Engage with prospective clients to understand their business challenges and technical requirements. Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and discussions to showcase the value of our solutions.

 

- Sales Process Management: Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and opportunities in the CRM system.

 

- Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS, HashiCorp & Datadog products, services, and industry trends.

 

- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and materials that drive lead generation. Collaborate with the technical team to ensure seamless delivery of proposed solutions.

 

- Customer Success: Foster long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services.

 

Qualifications:

 

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or similar role, with a focus on AWS solutions.

- Knowledge of AWS & Datadog services and solutions.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Demonstrated success in generating leads and achieving sales targets.

- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.

- AWS certifications/Training
